“Who needs to be... punished?”
— Punisher

The Punisher is a heavy combat medic of the Cartel in Act of Aggression. The Punisher is armed with the PAPOP heavy grenade launcher, making him very efficient against most enemy infantry. The Punisher is capable of occupying buildings, capturing POWs, and healing nearby allied infantry units.[1]

The Punisher's role extends more than just a simple medic than some may believe. The Punisher fires a few rounds (presumably 5-8) which deal a moderate amount of damage to infantry depending on the unit, and a nice amount of damage to buildings, though not so much versus vehicles. This restricts their use somewhat, as by the time they become avaliable, units like Jackals, SAS and Snipers can still neutralize them fairly easily, not to mention the wide variety of other vehicles countering them, meaning as much as they are great support units, they also required significant allied reinforcements for proper devastation.

Punishers have suppressive attacks, capable of even paralyzing the strongest hordes of enemy infantry at a range slightly less than the Chimera SAS, provided if hostiles were on open ground. With the possibility of being chained, they could potentially pin and defeat even the intimidating Exosoldiers effortlessly, though care must be exercised with allied infantry as they, too may also be stunned.

Their healing ability is nothing to scoff at, either, easily supporting allied infantry and reviving wounded ones, with the addition of versatility as they can occupy buildings and move with other infantry. While they could heal themselves too, this shouldn't be relied upon often as concentrated fire will still take them down. Healing AOE is also inferior compared to those from most other sources, so it could only back very small groups, although even that is very useful provided if they are holding choke points, particularly with Shershens or Vipers as anti-armor to prevent them from being taken out easily.
