The Logistical Center is a DEFCON 3 structure that heals all nearby friendly buildings and researches logistical-associated upgrades.[1]

Gameplay[]

The Logistical Center is an amazing building, with the ability to heal friendly ones slowly and its production of repair vehicles as well as various valuable upgrades.

An excellent addition to base defense, Logistical Centers are key to building up momentum in the early game by helping with building durability, especially considering how early are they avaliable. Though the effect isn't significant on its own, multiple copies of the same building can stack and they have a relatively large area of effect, so concentrated deployment can cover an entire base with lots of regeneration. It holds exceptional value when buildings are likely to take damage, such as the Field HQ and MG Nest, alleviating defensive pressure and preserving their staying power, especially against units with damaging after-effects like Valkyrie and Buratino. Its access to resource and M993 upgrades allows the US Army to have far more liberty on them and make a greater difference in the long run, with the building health improvement an icing on the cake. What's more, it can produce repair vehicles, allowing for a much more defensive playstyle while preparing for assaults.

Perhaps the biggest weaknesses of this building is its inability to repair itself, necessitating the presence of another copy, not to mention they themselves are not the toughest buildings to exist. The healing rate is not that high, either, and considering each drains 2 electricity, the costs can quickly skyrocket, while being unusable if the base ever loses its power. This ends up being a huge issue when the Field Generator become too fragile to take any punishment, while the Power Plant and Accumulator needed to sustain them can fight with it for aluminum. Healing off damage isn't the best strategy, since enemy artillery could get around it or just pour all their fire on a targeted building to overpower its ability. It remains some of the most important buildings, however, due to the simple value of resource perseverance that makes the most out of all buildings.
