The Kornet is an anti-armor infantry team of the Belyie Volki.
Gameplay[]
With their anti-vehicle missiles, Kornets are fearsome specialists and serves as some serious competition, even to their equivalents.
Only appearing as enemy units When the Wolves Howl, Kornets are fairly common, either as pre-placed ones in Districts or reinforcements, and will devastate the Namers with terrifying ease. As Namers are prolifically used for support and their Iron Fist upgrade could only do so much, it is imperative to eliminate them at all costs. Fortunately, just like their equivalents, Kornets are weak against anything that isn't a land vehicle. The mission conveniently provides the SAS to snipe them easily, or FÉLINs who are strong in CQC and can storm buildings.
Trivia[]
- Kornets behave identically to a basic Shershen, and could be also a direct reference to Consortium's Kornet Missile unit in Act of War. As both the Belyie Volki and their Cartel sponsors are known to appropriate Eastern European assets, either could have procured Kornets for the Belyie Volki itself.
