The income outpost is an upgraded outpost which generates 
10 every 2 seconds.
Income outposts are necessary mid to late game where oil fields are depleted.
Tactics[]
As with the Chimera doctrine of versatility, they also generate power, so build them in tandem with Syntech labs (which require power) to keep your resources running well after your refineries have dried up. it is advisable to build income outposts as soon as you have a surplus of Aluminium.
These are prime targets to cripple a Chimera player's economy, so keep them well defended and deep within your lines.
