Walkthrough[]

The base will be immediately attacked by Humvees, Rhinos, a Little Bird, Tigres and some Abrams. The initial defense force consists of a single K-Max, 4 Otomatics, 4 Spectres and 4 LOSATs. Use the LOSATs to take out the vehicles and Otomatics for aircraft. Once that is done, it diverges into two possible strategies.

Easy Way[]

This strategy exploits the fact that the mission does not progress unless all units in the initial attack force were destroyed. By taking out all of the units barring the Rhino, the latter will cease attacking as they cannot see any player units. The timer also does not begin, leaving the AI bases at the mercy of existing units, as they won't produce anything else.

Use the Recon K-Max to scout out the area for Aluminum Fields and build a Refinery on both of them. Build a Vehicles Bay, a Repair Center, and the Barracks (if destroyed). The Repair Center will grant access to the BREM-80U, which is vital for healing damaged vehicles. Ferry Contractors into the Banks with aerial transports for additional early-game income.

There are two US and Chimera bases on the East and West sides respectively. The bases up north are better defended, so it's recommended to take out the other two first, starting with the Chimera base on the west. A unit with a long sight range like the Scorpio or Jackal (the latter is recommended to scout out the Ninja hiding somewhere in there) can be used to reveal enemy Sentinel Turrets, which in turn can then be destroyed by LOSATs. Each will require three hits. Once they are done order them to hold fire and push north. Avoid destroying the HQ or Outposts, as they provide power. With the Sentinel Turrets out of the picture research Breaching Training and send one Contractor over (preferably in a transport) to capture the HQ. From there, build a Recon UGV and scout for resources, then build Refineries on them. Produce a Barracks and purchase Chimera's Breaching Training upgrade, so FELINs can also capture those Outposts. Produce Pumas and research SWORD Protocol to grant them ATGMs. Alternatively, build a Helipad and produce Tigres.

By this point research Black Ops to gain access to Tokamak Generators and Underground Stock Markets, as the only Rare Earth deposits are too defended for extraction. Research the LOAL-HI upgrade from the Stealth Lab.

The US Base on the right is much more heavily defended, with lots of MG Nests, Patriots and Light Vehicles. Ground units that can indirectly fire missiles are recommended, such as Shershens or Pumas. Build a Support Bay and use Ninjas for recon while avoiding the Patriots. A Shadowhawk can be used to ferry Shershens without fear of detection, and with the Ninja's sight range they can easily pick off targets. Remember to bring some more Contractors to capture additional buildings and research any available US Army upgrades.

The northern bases require a different approach for each. The Chimera base has numerous Rhinos, Sentinel Turrets, Tigres and Ninjas, while the US base has countless Abrams tanks stationed there.

Research the Weapon Tracking Radar upgrade for the Rhino, and use it to reveal enemy Rhinos. With the X-38 Stealth Missiles upgrade, the PAK FA can be used to snipe them. Once they have all been taken out, send another Ninja to locate all enemy helicopters. Produce some Antey-2500s and Pantsirs, then ferry them over with Valors. Use another helicopter to provoke them and the Antey-2500s will take them down. Some additional Sentinel Turrets may have to be destroyed beforehand for this to work. As for the US base, Shershens remain a viable answer.

Spam Superhinds to guard the checkpoints. With everything set up, destroy the Rhinos and let the mission progress. Things should go smoothly beyond this point. The southern HQs will turn hostile, so capture them again with infantry.

Regular Way[]

Trivia[]

  • The mission's setting is incorrect. Wittel and Veermak's conversations reflect on the former's defeat in The American Civil War as he plans his last stand, which plays out in Mexican Stand-Off. Exodus occurred between them, which places it also on May 4th, rather than May 7th.
